Calling all South Florida Mermaids and Mermen!

Mermaid Mile Swim Fiesta – Saturday June 2, 2018

Nicholas Dworet, 17, of Coral Springs, FL tragically passed away on February 14, 2018 in Parkland, Florida.

Nick was a captain of the swim team at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He was a District and Regional Champion. He achieved 5th place in 4A State Championship in 100 freestyle. He had a college scholarship in hand with the University of Indianapolis and with aspirations to swim in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He was ambitious and highly motivated, with a personality that would light up a room.
