So many Mermaids I know are all about ‘how far, how fast, and how often’. This time of year, with spring marathons and half marathons looming, runners are logging some serious miles in some a wide range of conditions- some pretty adverse ones as well, depending on your area of the country!
Run Without Injury:
Many runners spend time searching for a magic bullet, that secret workout that will propel them to PR heaven. Unfortunately, there is no magic bullet in running. Improvement comes the old fashioned way – you earn it through hard work. The good news, however, is that there are a number of “best practices” that followed faithfully will help any Mermaid run her best given the amount of time available to train.

Melissa will be offering some tips, advice and answering any questions you Mermaids may have about running, swimming, strength training and other stuff related to moving your fins!
